POKEMON GO Community Day September news is expected very shortly following the big success of August’s shiny Eevee evolutions event.
Having finished the latest Pokemon Go Community Day, fans are now interested in finding out what is coming next.
The good news is that fans are expecting an event update to be shared very soon, possibly by the end of the week.
August's Community Day allowed Pokemon Trainers the chance to use new bonuses and catch a bunch of Shiny Eevees.
Every month in 2018 will feature a Community Day, including its own rewards focused around one chosen Pokemon.
It’s unclear what Pocket Monster could be the focused, as we have run through all the gen 1 starter Pokemon used over the first few months of the year.
And while we don’t know which Pokemon will be chosen for the Community Day in September, we shouldn’t be waiting long to find out.
Developers Niantic has gotten into a routine of releasing new information about an upcoming Community event just days after the previous one has wrapped up.
Information is usually limited to just what the new Pokemon will be, as well as what bonus might be included with the three-hour lures.
Niantic like to share details quite quickly so we could hear more about it by August 16.
This won’t extend to finding out what the special move will be, which is something confirmed closer to launch day.
However, recent months has seen this information leaked through other means, so there’s a chance we could find out what it is earlier than expected.
It should also be noted that things ran a little differently with the Eevee evolutions event, so there’s a chance we might wait a bit longer for details.
But fans can be guaranteed that whatever Pokemon is the focus, there will also be the chance of catching a shiny variant of it too.
When it comes to the timing of the next event, Niantic may look to host the next Community Day event on September 15.
This would help space it out before the Safari Zone event in Yokosuka, Japan, which ends on September 2.
The next Community Day event will have to contend with the popular Eevee evolutions event, which saw players able to add a lot of new Pokemon to their collections.
Here’s a list of Shiny Eevees that can be evolved during August’s Community Day: Shiny Eevee, Shiny Vaporeon, Shiny Jolteon, Shiny Flareon, Shiny Espeon and Shiny Umbreon.
And according to the Pokemon Hub, players will need to catch a high average of shiny Eevees if they want all of them this weekend.
According to numbers crunched by Pokemon Go fans, a total of 400 shiny Eevees are required for a good haul.
Here’s more from the Pokemon Go Hub team, who explain: “2 shiny Eevee for Gen II evolutions (Espeon and Umbreon), as these ones can be evolved by walking them as a buddy for 10 KMs and evolving during the day (Espeon) and night (Umbreon).
“10 – 13 shiny Eevee to have a 95% to 98% chance that you will get at least one of each (shiny Vaporeon, shiny Flareon and shiny Jolteon).
“If you combine that with the average chance to get a shiny during a Community Day event (1 in 23 – 25 event Pokemon), you end up with the following number of Eevee that you need to catch in order to have a shiny version of every Gen 1 and Gen 2 evolution.
“Yes, 400 Eevee in two days is your target catch rate during this weekend if you aim to get a shiny version of every Eeveelution. If you want two extras for Leafeon and Glaceon, aim for 550ish.”
Fans will also be waiting for the chance to evolve their Eevee into the upcoming Glaceon and Leafeon from Gen 4.
The added bonus for this Pokemon Go Community Event is that Pokemon trading is now available, meaning you can swap and trade shiny Eevee’s with your friend to complete the set and get all the Eevee shiny evolutions you want.
However, trading will cost you a lot of stardust, so make sure you have some spare if you are desperate for a shiny evolution.
