UPDATE ONE: In a new Pokemon Go Halloween update, it's been confirmed by Trainers that Gen 3 Shiny Pocket Monsters are available to catch.
Like usual, Niantic have left fans to discover all the little secrets added to their latest event, which runs until November 2.
And now its been confirmed that not only are new a list of Gen 3 Pokemon available to catch, Shiny version are also available.
Online reports indicate that Shiny Sableyes can be hatched from 10 km eggs.
There's been no official confirmation of this from Niantic, which means other variants may also be available to hatch from eggs.
The Halloween celebration runs until November 2 at 9pm BST, giving Trainers plenty of time trying to hatch and catch as many top Pocket Monster as possible.
The Pokemon Go Halloween event is in full swing and isn’t scheduled to end until early next month.
Fans can expect all the bonuses to last until November 2, at which point the game will revert back to normal rules.
One of the biggest bonuses is being able to catch a new list of Gen 3 Pokemon, which are new to everyone.
This includes the likes of Sableye, Shuppet, Bannette, Duskull and Dusclops.
So how easy is it to catch these new types?
Well, according to the latest reports, it depends when you are out.
Apparently, Ghost-Type and Dark-Type Pokemon spawns increase by over 50% at night, although there’s still plenty of opportunity during the day too.
According to dataminers, the current night cycle lasts around 12 hours, starting at 8pm local time and ending around 8am local time.
This would suggest that Pokemon Go does in fact include daytime and nocturnal Pocket Monsters.
It’s not totally clear whether these new Gen 3 updates will stick around after Halloween, Niantic are likely to make further announcement of their plans in the near future.
What we do know is that a big list Gen 3 Pokemon will launch in December, although it will be a gradual rollout.
That probably indicates that Niantic are planning multiple major updates throughout the month, grouping Pokemon together in what could be new events.
New analysis has also been provided regarding the recent Pokemon Go Halloween event’s in-game boxes.
As well as new Pocket Monsters to catch and Candy to collect, Niantic also released a range of new boxes in their game store.
The Halloween Box Sale has now been analysed by the team at the Pokemon Go Hub, revealing the level of discount and items included.
