Players have had some good news this week as Niantic look set to carry on adding new features to Pokemon Go.
The development team recently launched a new trading system into the game, that allows players to swap Pokemon and gifts.
This has proven a hit with fans and looks to be just one of a number of new features being launched in 2018.
A new type of Pokemon has been found that looks set to arrive in the near future.
These “Lucky Pokemon” have been found in the game’s data files and appear to offer a new variety of benefits.
According to data miners, this will include things like having custom backgrounds and camera effects, as well as counter labels.
Lucky Pokemon are also set to require a reduced amount of Stardust to power up, something that could prove very exciting for the fanbase.
You can expect more to be revealed on the subject soon, as Niantic look ready to launch the new feature in the near future.
Zapdos Day is now over, with the chance of catching a Legendary Shiny Pokemon passed.
Fans claimed during the three-hour event that more Shiny Zapdos catches were reported than with Articuno.
However, it’s still unclear if Niantic actually boosted the chances or not.
The other good news is that another special shiny day will likely be announced soon.
The Safari Zone event in Yokosuka kicks off on Wednesday, August 29, and lasts until Sunday, September 2 (JST) in Kanagawa Prefecture.
Like Pokemon Go Fest and the Dortmund Safari Zone, this new event will include a new Professor Willow’s Global Challenge.
This will take place on September 1 and 2, giving Trainers all over the world the opportunity to unlock new bonuses while they take part in this special event.
And that new bonus is expected to be the Shiny Moltres Day.
Niantic has not confirmed this, however, it seems the most likely reward based on the other events.
