A new Pokemon Go update made its debut this week and has now been datamined by fans.
However, while Trainers may have expected some new features or some kind of hint at what the Pokemon Go Halloween event would include, it appears that nothing massive has been hidden within the code.
A copy of the 0.75.1 APK has now been explored and found to contain a list of bug fixes.
That’s not to say something substantial won’t be added at a later date, only that the latest game patch isn’t something to get excited about.
This could be connected to some of the Pokemon Go raid bugs that have been reported in recent days, affecting fans globally.
A green screen bug occurs sometimes when entering the capture challenge scenario, but does not stop you from catching the boss.
What Trainers have been told is that they need to restart the app before, although sometimes this might also fail to help.
While fans maybe disappointed not to find any new information about a big Gen 3 release hidden in the latest update, they can look forward to the big Halloween event.
While Niantic have yet to confirm the news, the Pokemon Company have revealed that the seasonal Halloween event will be returning in 2017.
Trainers expected as much but some have looked a little closer at the wording of the recent Pokemon Company statement.
It reads: “The Halloween season is a special time in Pokemon Go.
“Plenty of good stuff is coming to the game later this October, and we can't wait to get out and about to see what sort of excitement we can scare up while catching new Pokemon to fill out our Pokedex.
“Stay tuned for more details about Pokemon Go's Halloween event coming soon.”
Could this mean that “new” Pokemon will be added to the game soon?
