That's why, this early on, the Pokémon Company is already teasing a whole range of new content and events for the season, not just for "Pokémon GO" but also for their other games and media products.
For the mobile game, the company has teased of "Ghostly Goodies" coming to "Pokémon GO" later this month in their announcement on Monday, Oct. 2. Could it be more Ghost-type Pokémon floating around in the game in the upcoming weeks, like last year?
Niantic is not giving out more details for now, aside from assuring players that "Plenty of good stuff is coming to the game later this October, and we can't wait to get out and about to see what sort of excitement we can scare up while catching new Pokémon to fill out our Pokédex."
