Although Hong Kong singer-actor Aaron Kwok had shared that he does not intend to try for a third child any time soon in June this year, media outlets are reporting that the 54-year-old has since changed his mind.
The reports claim that Aaron is now actively “trying to convince” his wife, Chinese model Moka Fang, to try for a third child as he wishes to have a son. The couple, who tied the knot in 2017, has two daughters together, two-year-old Chantelle and Charlotte, who was born in April this year.
In order to convince Moka, Aaron reportedly splurged on an extravagant gift for the 32-year-old: an Hermès handbag worth TW$500,000 (about S$22,000). Additionally, Aaron also promised a cash gift of TW$4 million (about S$180,000) as further incentive for Moka to bear him a baby boy.
According to the reports, Moka even shared with her close friends that Aaron had never given her a bag worth more than TW$400,000 (about S$18,000) before, and that she was thrilled to receive her new designer arm candy.
Since then, Moka is said to have become more receptive to the idea of trying for a son, with her only worry being that she would end up giving birth to another girl. As a result, the couple has since scheduled an appointment with doctors and is actively seeking advice from their close friends.
