Taiwanese singer-actor Alan Ke, who proposed to his non-celebrity girlfriend, Donna in July last year, is set to hold his wedding banquet later this month, on March 29.
Ahead of their big day, the couple released a number of pictures from their wedding photoshoot. Alan shared that their shoot, which took ten hours to complete, “was even more tiring than my usual photoshoots”.
He then revealed that he had thought that they would only have three to four outfit changes for the shoot. “I didn’t expect that we’ll shoot a total of seven different outfits. I told my wife that it really is a very special experience to change into seven different outfits (just for one shoot),” he said.
However, it seems that all their effort paid off, with Alan adding that they were very satisfied with the shoot.
Before the shoot, the couple also exchanged presents to prepare themselves for the big day. “In order to ensure that we’d be glowing and picture-perfect during the shoot, I gifted my wife a full-body spa package, while she brought me for a facial,” Alan revealed.
Alan, who often goes to the gym, also embarked on a two-month diet, swearing off starchy food and carbohydrates. “I really want to have a bowl of white rice,” he lamented, adding that it was the toughest for him during the Chinese New Year period, where he could only see everyone else enjoying good food.
As for their wedding banquet, the couple hopes to have a “simple and warm” celebration. They will be hosting twenty tables, and will have their first ceremony in Hong Kong on March 29, with a second ceremony, which will be held elsewhere, in the works.
