Bosco Wong Denies Reports Claiming That He Tried (And Failed) To Woo His Co-Star, Who Happens To Be BFFs With His Rumoured Girlfriend
After breaking up with fellow Hongkong star Myolie Wu in 2012, Bosco Wong has been linked to a number of starlets, including 27-year-old Hongkong actress Rose Chan. Although Rose has been photographed entering and leaving his apartment, neither she nor Bosco ever acknowledged the rumours that they're dating.
Last week, a report claimed that Bosco had attempted to woo his Flying Tiger II co-star, Hongkong actress-singer Jennifer Yu, who just so happens to be BFFs with Rose. According to the report, Jennifer ignored Bosco’s advances, and even told Rose what happened.
Angered by what she did, Bosco reportedly told the production team that he would not participate in any of the drama's promotional activities that included her.
When asked to comment on the rumours, Bosco replied: ”Nonsense! Jennifer and I are not on bad terms. When we’re on set, we often talk and joke together in a group, but we’ve never contacted each other privately.”
Jennifer also backed up Bosco’s story, saying: “For a large majority of the dramas and movies that are currently airing, there’ll always be reports claiming that there was discord [between the actors], [and] spreading gossip. What I can say is that no such thing happened, [the report] is fake. In the drama, Bosco and I don’t have a lot of scenes together, and we don’t contact each other privately as well. So, I really don’t understand how this rumour started spreading."
