Cecilia Cheung attends carnival after ‘giving birth’

​Did Cecilia Cheung really give birth to her third child a mere two weeks ago, and who is the father of her rumoured child? 

Tongues were set wagging in late November this year, after Hong Kong media reported that the 38-year-old had secretly given birth to a baby boy at the Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital. 

At press time, neither Cecilia nor her manager has denied or confirmed these reports. Though reporters were staked out at Cecilia’s apartment and the hospital, no one managed to catch a glimpse of the actress after she had given birth.

At that time, it was reported that the father of the child was a wealthy 65-year-old Singaporean businessman. However, on Friday (December 7), new reports emerged, claiming that the father of the child was actually a 50-year-old Chinese businessman, who treats Cecilia’s two sons from her previous marriage to Hong Kong singer-actor Nicholas Tse as his own.

A day later, Cecilia was spotted at a carnival organised at a residential complex with her younger son, 7-year-old Quintus. Dressed in a casual all black outfit with track pants and sunglasses on, Cecilia also stopped at a stall run by the animal welfare group, Love Adopt Animal Society, where she took some pictures with the dogs and volunteers there. The pictures were later uploaded on the group’s Facebook page, where netizens observed that the 38-year-old looked to be in good health, albeit a little chubbier.

Cecilia and Nicholas went their separate ways in 2011 and she was last romantically linked to Taiwanese host He Meng Huai. Reports of them getting engaged in October this year was refuted by her agency. Cecilia has two sons from her marriage to Nicholas, 10-year-old Lucas and 7-year-old Quintus.
