While everyone else is scrambling to cancel their holiday plans, it seems like Cecilia Cheung has jetted off to Thailand for a vacation with her brood in a bid to escape the doom and gloom of COVID-19.
On Wednesday (Feb 26), Cecilia posted a picture of herself at the airport, with the caption: “Setting off”.
Although the 39-year-old was not wearing a mask in the picture, the actress later revealed on her Instagram Story that she had taken the necessary precautions to avoid cross-contamination on the plane.
“Most importantly, [we] have to stay safe,” she wrote, posting a picture of her son wearing a cap, sunglasses, a mask, and a pair of bright blue gloves, along with a long-sleeved shirt. With his face all but covered up, netizens couldn’t help but wonder if it was Lucas, 12, or Quintus, nine, in that particular snap.
Once in Thailand, Cecilia and her family headed straight for their hotel — a luxurious villa with a private pool.
They were joined by Cecilia’s younger brother and his family, with Ceci posting multiple videos of her nieces online, gushing that she was “deeply in love” with them.
“We can finally enjoy our days swimming,” Cecilia wrote on IG along with a video of her playfully pushing her younger son Quintus into the pool.
The actress isn’t slacking on her anti-COVID-19 efforts in Thailand, though. Later that day, Cecilia posted a video of her buying sanitation essentials like rubber gloves, a mop, and more while on a supermarket run.
