Chinese actress Lareina Song denies claims that she is dating Ethan Ruan

Taiwanese actor Ethan Ruan has been romantically linked to Chinese actress Lareina Song for months. The pair first met while filming Chinese drama Cupid’s Kitchen, and last August were later spotted out in public together on what was assumed was a date.

At the time, they did not comment on the rumours, and some netizens believed that they were just trying to drum up publicity for their series instead.

​However, months later, the 37-year-old was spotted heading to Lareina’s home in the wee hours of the night with a bag in hand. He was not seen leaving that night, raising suspicions that he spent the night at her place.

Netizens quickly assumed that they have been dating as the actors had no reason to keep up a front as they were no longer promoting their drama.

However, Lareina’s agency refuted the reports on January 7, sharing that it was just a gathering among friends. Her manager added that she was also present at the party. Ethan has yet to respond to the dating rumours at press time.

Ethan has denied all relationship rumours since ending his eight-year romance with Tiffany Hsu in 2015, as he declared that he would be focusing on his career instead.
