Female duo ClariS surprised audiences after they revealed their faces for the first time.
On Septmber 16, ClariS held a concert at Pacifico Yokohama Hall. It was at this concert that the two revealed their faces.
Towards the end of the concert, the two moved to the back of the stage and turned their backs to the audience. They removed their masks and began performing the song "Prism". When the lyrics "yatto aeta ne (at last we met)" were song, the two turned around, revealing their faces.
The audience screamed in excitement after witnessing the reveal. Shortly after, the group became a trending topic worldwide on Twitter.
"Although I was a bit embarrassed and uneasy about removing the mask, I'm definitely more than happy to have done it," they told the audience.

ClariS debuted in 2010 with the single "Irony". The duo had always worn a mask during this time, and only illustrations of the two were available to view.
