Taiwan-based Japanese singer Aisa Senda announced her divorce from her husband of three years, Taiwanese actor Zhou Ming Fu in early February after it was revealed that Ming Fu had cheated on her.
When Aisa headed to the public registry office to sign the divorce papers, she was accompanied by her good friends, Taiwanese actress June Tsai and Taiwanese singer Sunnie Huang.
On Wednesday, Sunnie made an appearance at an event, where she was asked about Aisa’s condition. The singer revealed that Aisa has always been mentally strong and she knew that there was not much that she could say to comfort her. However, when she felt that something was wrong, Sunnie sent over a text to Aisa, saying, “We're all here (for you),”.
After the text, Aisa called her up, for a heart-to-heart talk. After the call, Sunnie immediately contacted June. “After all, June is more gentle, and experienced when it comes to things like this. We didn’t wish to cause any party harm, thus we encouraged (Aisa) to look on the positive side of things,” Sunnie shared.
Apart from Sunnie and June, Aisa’s mother also flew over to Taipei from Japan, to spend time with her daughter.
“With Aisa’s mother and us around, we will make sure to be there for her. We’ll help her pull herself together, so that she can find her Mr Right,” Sunnie said.
As for the terms of the divorce agreement between Aisa and Ming Fu, Sunnie shared that even though they had been married for three years, the couple had no kids, nor did they purchase any property together. Thus, the ex-couple had no shared assets to split, making the entire affair a clean-cut and straightforward one.
