Former couple Cecilia Cheung, Daniel Chan to reunite on stage

​Cecilia Cheung has never been secretive about her past boyfriends, with one of them being Hong Kong singer-songwriter Daniel Chan. The former couple dated in 2000 but broke up about a year later. Despite being exes, the pair remain good friends and even congratulated each other when they each started a family.

Cecilia’s recent announcement about the birth of her third child has reignited interest in her love life, but she has maintained her silence on the identity of the father of her youngest son, and has only stood up to refute rumours that were untrue.

Despite having given birth recently, the mother-of-three has dived back to work and announced that she is involved in dubbing Stephen Chow’s movie, New King of Comedy, which is a remake of the classic film King of Comedy.

Following which, it has been confirmed that she will be taking the stage with Daniel Chan at his upcoming Hong Kong concert. The show, titled Planet XT Daniel Chan World Tour 2019, will take place at the Hong Kong Coliseum on March 9.

During previous publicity events for the concert, Daniel coyly deflected talk about which of his friends would be making a guest appearance, which has since been confirmed to be Cecilia. Daniel is reported to have gotten permission from his wife, Wang Yu Xian, with whom he has two daughters with, before inviting Cecilia to appear at the show.

This has caused a buzz among Cecilia’s fans, as this is likely to be her first concert after giving birth.
