It’s been a rough year for Jam Hsiao, who admitted to being overwhelmed by stress by his Golden Melody Awards hosting gig, which was followed by reports of suffering from dizzy spells. He also suffered a blow when his beloved cat, White Ash, passed away this year.
The Taiwanese singer, who is said to dislike traveling by plane, reportedly decided to bring his ‘Mr Entertainment’ World Tour to Canada and the USA because he wanted to meet the fans who had been waiting for him for a long time. However, despite mustering his courage to travel halfway across the world, he is now said to be battling something entirely different: jetlag.
After wrapping his concerts in Vancouver and Toronto, the 31-year-old is said to still be having problems adjusting to the time difference, which has caused him to not be able to perform up to his own expectations during his concerts.
During the concert, he is reported to have confessed to his fans, “My eyes are feeling misty and it feels like I’m about to cry, but it isn’t because I’m overwhelmed by emotions, but because of the time difference.” He added, “I don’t even know where I am, what I’m singing, and I feel that this isn’t fair to you, the audience.”
This is despite him arriving in Canada two days before the concert in an attempt to adjust to the time difference, which has caused many netizens to applaud him for his professionalism.
Sources close to the singer have claimed that he is considering canning all future shows in the Western Hemisphere because of this problem, although he will be giving his all to the remaining three shows he has before returning home.
