Janice Man counts down to wedding with lavish betrothal ceremony

Hong Kong model-actress Janice Man recently shared some pictures from her lavish guo da li (a traditional Chinese betrothal ceremony) online, as she gears up for her upcoming wedding to her non-celebrity fiancé, Carl.

The ceremony, which was held on July 28, saw the lovebirds dressed up in matching red outfits, flanked by their bridal party as they posed together in front of a table filled with gifts. After seeing the pictures Janice uploaded on her Instagram, fans and netizens alike expressed their surprise at the lavish gold wedding jewellery that Carl had bought for Janice.

​According to reports, Carl comes from a wealthy family, and is said to lead a very comfortable lifestyle. The lovebirds first started dating five years ago, and have had a stable relationship since. Although Janice has yet to confirm the location and date of her upcoming wedding, it is believed that they will be tying the knot in a castle in Milan this October. 

As the couple hopes to have a private ceremony, they will only be inviting their family and close friends, with invitations already being sent out last month.
