Jason Zhang, Xie Na dispel rumours of divorce

​Chinese singer Jason Zhang and Chinese host Xie Na, who tied the knot in 2011 and welcomed twin daughters last year, have become the latest target of reports alleging that they are on the brink of divorce, despite the fact that they have never been shy about professing their love for each other on broadcast (Xie Na was even criticised for “mentioning her husband too often” while hosting a show earlier this year).

According to the reports, Jason is reportedly cheating on Xie Na with Chinese singer Zhang Bichen. Jason and Bichen once took to the stage together in 2017 to perform a duet, where netizens zeroed in on the two singers’ gazes towards each other, commenting that there were “sparks flying between the two of them”.

Then, earlier this year, Xie Na reportedly caught Jason cheating on her with Bichen, causing Xie Na to ask for a divorce, despite Jason’s pleas.

However, Jason quickly dispelled the reports during a short interview session before he rehearsed for his upcoming concert. When a reporter asked if his twin daughters will be attending the concert, Jason laughed, “The most important thing would be for me to bring my daughters’ mother along,” indirectly dispelling the reports.

In a Weibo live stream later that night, Xie Na also mentioned that she will definitely be attending Jason’s concert, and sang along to one of Jason’s songs as well. 

Bichen has also responded to the reports in a statement issued through her work studio, denying any romantic involvement with Jason. Her work studio has also shared that they intend to take legal action if the reports persist in mentioning her as the third party.
