Barely two months after their debut in October, South Korean boyband JBJ embarked on their very first overseas fanmeeting tour, stopping by in countries such as Thailand, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
A day before their December 30 fanmeet in Singapore, Toggle met with the six-member boyband for a short interview, where we soon found out that the members are more than willing to expose each other’s, well, less than exemplary living habits, and more.
The six members rose to stardom after participating in the South Korean reality survival show, Produce 101, where 101 idol trainees battled it out to win the hearts (and votes) of the public. The top 11 trainees later debuted as the temporary boyband Wanna One, who dropped by Singapore earlier last year (August 22), while Noh Taehyun, Takada Kenta, Kim Sanggyun, Kim Yongguk, Kwon Hyunbin and Kim Donghan, who finished in the top 35, debuted in October as JBJ after garnering a lot of attention from fans for their close friendship.
Calling themselves a group that “the fans made possible”, Donghan said: “We’re very thankful for all the love and support we’ve gotten from our Joyfuls (official name for the group’s fans), and we’ll do our best to return all the love given to us.”
Member Yongguk, who confessed that his hobby is gaming, also let slip that his IGN (in game nickname) is actually “Just Be Joyful”, showing his love for both the group as well as his fans.
