Lin Chi-ling, Akira to star alongside each other in upcoming music video

Celebrity couple Lin Chi-ling and Akira may have just had their wedding party two weeks ago, but it looks like it’s back to business as usual for the lovebirds.

Yesterday (Nov 26), a teaser for the music video of J-pop group J Soul Brothers’ latest release ‘White Wings’ was released. To fans’ surprise, the music video features Chi-ling and Akira as the main actors. 

J Soul Brothers are widely touted as the “younger brothers” of J-pop group EXILE, which Akira is a member of. Thus, it comes as no surprise that the group had enlisted the help of Akira and his new wife for their music video.

The clip follows Chi-ling and Akira in the role of lovers through different time periods, who manage to find each other time and again using a perfume bottle.

Fans of Chi-ling and Akira could not help but to heap praises upon the acting skills of the couple, expressing their delight at being able to see the newlyweds act alongside each other once again. The teaser amassed over 200,000 views in less than a day.

The music video is expected to premiere tomorrow (Nov 28) at 7pm on the large screen television outside the SOGO department store in Taipei. It will then be uploaded online on Friday (Nov 29) at 5pm on AVEX’s YouTube channel.

Chi-ling and Akira announced that they had registered their marriage in June this year. The couple first got to know each other after working together in the stage play Red Cliff -Love- eight years ago.
