Taiwanese star Lin Chiling has a long history of being exceptionally charitable but there's one type of 'charity' the 45-year-old is not willing to do.
You see, Chiling has also been a long-time ambassador of the 'Six Minutes Protects A Life' campaign, a movement to raise awareness for breast, ovarian, uterine and cervical cancer. And the campaign is widely recognised for Chiling's use of the "OK" hand sign.
But it was recently reported that pics of Chiling from that campaign have been used without her consent to front an advertisement for a Chinese women's health clinic.
The two-minute ad claimed to perform painless abortions at a discounted rate of RMB 400 (S$800). And now people are assuming that the model is a spokesperson for the clinic.
And Chiling and her team are not 'OK' with that.
Her management has declared that they will be taking legal action against the clinic for ruining Chiling's reputation.
