Liza Wang Donated So Many Of Her Own Anti-COVID-19 Products, She Now Has To Use One Mask Over Two Days
Hongkong veteran star Liza Wang has a heart of gold.
In order to aid relief efforts in curbing the spread of COVID-19, the 72-year-old donated over 25 boxes of anti-pandemic supplies, including surgical masks, hand sanitisers and antibacterial wet tissues to medical staff and temples.
She has given so much away, it has come to a point where Liza no longer has enough supplies for herself.
When she met the press recently, Liza revealed that she is facing a shortage of face masks for her own use, and that she only has enough to last her until the end of this month.
"Masks for medical staff are more difficult to obtain, so I can't do anything about that. At present, I only have enough masks for this month. Sometimes, I’d use one mask over two days. So I've decided to cut down on the times I leave my house,” she said.
As for her husband, Hongkong actor Law Kar-ying, Liza mentioned that he is currently filming in Malaysia, where a nationwide lockdown takes effect today (Mar 18). He is expected to return to Hongkong next month.
When asked if her husband will be quarantined upon his return to Hongkong, Liza sighed: “There’s no other way around it. The only thing he can do when he comes back is to clean and disinfect himself.”
