Taiwanese singer Show Luo is done with all the rumours and accusations he's had to face in the aftermath of his cheating scandal.
Ever since Show's ex-girlfriend, Chinese influencer Grace Chow, exposed his philandering ways in April, the internet has been rife with rumours about the 40-year-old's “extra-curricular activities”.
He has been dubbed by netizens as the “master of time management” — 'cos he knows how to, um, divide his time between the different women in his life — and was even accused of sexually-harassing guests on Entertainment 100%, a long-running variety show that he hosts. Even his mother and Taiwanese singer-actress Amber Kuo, whom Show was once romantically-linked with, were not spared from the gossip.
Yesterday (Jul 29), Show’s studio took to Weibo to issue a warning against rumour-mongers, stating that their words have hurt his reputation. In the lawyer's letter, he threatened to take legal action against those who have spread falsehoods about him and also asked for the malicious rumours and comments to be taken down.
Show has been keeping a low profile since the scandal broke. Apart from his public apology to Grace as well as a plea to netizens to refrain from attacking his mother, he has remained largely silent about the matter.
He was supposed to hold a press conference to address the scandal and apologise for his cheating ways, but decided to shelve it for reasons he has yet to disclose.
