Singapore artiste Danielle Gan dedicated her ‘first time’ to Taiwan TV Variety Show

Taiwan - Singaporean artist Danielle Gan was invited to Taiwan last week to shoot a series of promotional events and participate in Taiwanese TV variety shows. Danielle was both excited and nervous about this trip to Taiwan and was worried about whether her performance was good since it was her first appearance in Taiwan showbiz.

This Taiwan trip has a special significance for Danielle as it also has her many 'firsts'. This trip to Taiwan is her first overseas promotional event, the first publicity for filming of overseas merchants, the first interviews by overseas hosts and the first time to participate in Taiwan's TV variety shows.

Her first Taiwan TV variety show was dedicated to ‘The Hunger Games' hosted by members of boy group ‘5566’. Danielle expressed her great pleasure and joy in recording ‘The Hunger Games'. She said that ‘5566’ is her youth idols and never thought about being able to participate in their programs, and therefore very nervous.

Not only that, Danielle also encountered difficulties and dilemma during the recording of the show. Because of the nature of the one of the games involved, Danielle must wear a swimsuit on the show. This is a challenge for her. She said that although she usually pays attention to her body and work out regularly, she still felt a little insecure and worried. Because of her dedication, Danielle was praised for professionalism as an artiste.

​“It was indeed uneasy to wear a bikini on set during filming. But I stood by my working ethics and proved worthy as the producer praised for my professionalism.”

After the game ended, Danielle revealed that in fact, when shooting, she was really worried about whether the protective measures were done well. But she said that since she had already participated in the program, she would have to go all out. 

Overall, Danielle was very happy to be able to participate in this show’s recording and hope to participate in the recording of ‘The Hunger Games' again if there is a chance.
