Singapore Mandopop singer Elson Soh says: "I'm still breathing and you will see me in my music concert!"
There are rumours going around that Elson Soh will cancel his third Singapore ticketed music concert which schedule to be held on 4 November 2017 (Saturday) at Zepp@BigBox, due to the recurrence of throat cancer.
Three months ago, some people spoof rumours that he was diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer and died at the age of 29 years old. This rumours were spread to all the Chinese media in Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan, and Royal Entertainment spokesperson has through the major media cautioned everyone not to believe in the rumours.
Insider news leaked that the throat cancer in 2010 was real and Elson Soh had undergone a series of chemotheraphy and was then recovered. But recently, there are rumours going around that the recurrence of throat cancer had spread to Stage 4 stomach cancer. This news was brought to the attention for one of the sponsors Mr Wilson Ee from PaddyKing, and was then clarify by Elson Soh in person and he thanked PaddyKing for their concern.
Royal Entertainment spokesperson Elis Ch'ng once again urged the public and music fans not to trust the rumous and said that Elson Soh had recently visited Pioneer Junior College (PJC) and took a photo with his principal. During the interview, Elson Soh even laughed that he had been "dying" since 2010, and he also highlighted that he will be presenting something special for his fellow juniors at PJC during concert day.
The Grand Return Music Concert 2017 will be held at Zepp@BigBox this Saturday and Elson Soh will be performing a series of his hits under his belt. Together with his two fellow juniors, Lawrence Hiew and Danielle Gan, they will be giving away more than $20,000 worth of prizes through lucky draw on stage.
