Yesterday, Singaporean singer Stefanie Sun took to her Instagram to share two pieces of good news.
As it was the eighth wedding anniversary of the 40-year-old and her businessman husband, Nadim van der Ros, Stefanie shared a wefie of the couple in front of the iconic Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore.
In her caption, she also shared that she will be embarking on a concert tour next year to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her showbiz debut.
“I’m not quitting. Sabotage!” she added in her caption, alluding to the fact that false rumours had been spreading about her intention to step out of the spotlight.
The singer had previously shared during promotional activities for her last album A Dancing Van Gogh last year that she intends to hold a concert in 2020, to mark 20 years as a singer.
The news was very well received by her fans, many of whom commented that they are “eagerly looking forward to next year”. Some also expressed their disbelief that it has been 20 years since Stefanie first debuted, commenting, “Has it really been 20 years already?”
Stefanie tied the knot with Nadim in 2011, and welcomed their firstborn, a son nicknamed Little Nadim, a year later in 2012. Last year, the couple welcomed their second child, a baby girl nicknamed Poppy.
