Tavia Yeung And Him Law Are Being Extra Careful To Ensure A Safe Pregnancy Throughout The COVID-19 Outbreak
After Tavia Yeung and Him Law announced on February 13 that they are expecting a baby, reporters started camping out in front of the couple’s apartment, in the hopes of getting an interview with them.
They didn’t have to wait long. That very afternoon, Him was spotted driving to the gym, where he stopped to speak to reporters.
Him shared that Tavia’s expected due date is at the end of May and that the 40-year-old actress will be giving birth in Hongkong. However, he declined to share their baby’s gender.
“I was quite calm when I first found out [about the pregnancy], but after a period of calm, I started becoming more excited,” he said, when asked about his reaction to the good news. His response couldn't be more different than what Tavia had shared in her IG announcement post where she wrote that Him’s first words upon finding out that she's pregnant was: “You can’t joke about that! Did you ask the doctor clearly?”
Him was also asked if they're worried about the COVID-19 outbreak and how it would affect her pregnancy.
“After I return home, I will immediately change my clothes, to prevent bringing any bacteria into the house. Tavia has also stopped going out as much. She still exercises but she does it at home now. When she does leave the house, we’ll make sure to avoid crowded places,” the 35-year-old actor said.
The actor also said that he and Tavia have enough masks at home to last them for a while, as their friends had helped them purchase the masks before they went out of stock. He then headed into the gym, but not before stopping to disinfect his hands with sanitiser.
