All eyes have been on Rainie Yang’s tummy ever since the Taiwanese singer tied the knot with Chinese singer Li Ronghao last September. Even though the couple hasn't been spending much time together, with Ronghao based in China and Rainie in Taiwan, the 35-year-old singer has been constantly plagued by pregnancy rumours. And if this filter's prediction is to be believed, we won’t have to wait too long before we hear baby news... we hope.
On May 31, Rainie posted a clip on Weibo of herself playing with the 'After the pandemic' filter. Whenever someone uses the filter in selfie mode, it 'predicts' what will happen to them when the COVID-19 pandemic is over.
Of the more than 10 possible results, which includes “get plastic surgery”, “study abroad” or “have a windfall”, Rainie got “get pregnant”. And her genuinely shocked reaction, which was caught on camera, couldn’t be funnier.
“This interesting game is rather scary,” said Rainie in her caption.
While we’re pretty sure she isn’t taking the results seriously, netizens couldn't get more excited about the outcome.
“I am looking forward to seeing little Rainie and litte Ronghao,” one netizen quipped, while others asked if it was a hint of what’s to come. Some even tagged Rainie’s good friend, Taiwanese singer-songwriter Wu Qingfeng, asking him to help convince the couple to have babies sooner.
“Okay, request accepted,” he replied.
