Bruneian star Wu Chun and his family may live in comfort and luxury — have you seen the huge and resort-like bungalow they call home? — but like any good parent, he hasn’t forgotten to teach his kids the importance of giving back to the community.
Last Thursday (Jun 4), the 40-year-old shared a few photos of himself at the hospital with his nine-year-old daughter Neinei and six-year-old son Max. Don’t worry, they’re all fine — the trio was just there to donate supplies to the families of 18 patients who need help.
From the looks of it, the recipients enjoyed five-star treatment and service as they had the items passed directly into their vehicles without them even needing to get down and carry anything (almost like a drive-through that happens to be operated by a former Fahrenheit member).
“I hope Max and Neinei can find the joy in helping others,” wrote Wu Chun. “As a father, it is my biggest dream to teach his children to be compassionate and caring.”
Naturally, netizens were full of praise for his charitable endeavour and for wanting to instill such good values to his kids. “You are such a good idol, I’m so proud of you!” gushed one, while another applauded Wu Chun for “using [his] abilities to spread love and warmth, and cultivating kindness in his children from an early age”.
Other comments include “Being involved in such a meaningful activity will be one of the best experiences for your kids” and “Max and Neinei will grow up to be people who are so full of love ‘cos they are inspired by you”. Some also took the opportunity to point out just how much both kids have grown ‘cos they look so tall in the pictures.
We’re just glad to see people have moved on from hating him for keeping his marriage under wraps and other inane allegations.
