Celebrity couple Yang Mi and Hawick Lau announced that they had called it quits in December last year after five years of marriage. The couple has a daughter, a 3-year-old nicknamed Little Glutinous Rice together.
Earlier this week (March 13), it was revealed that the power couple had over HK$100 million (approximately S$17.27 million) worth of shared assets and property that they purchased together after tying the knot.
According to the reports, Yang Mi and Hawick had also established a company together. The company spent HK$30 million (approximately S$5.18 million) and HK$59.8 million (approximately S$10.32 million) to purchase two luxury properties in Hong Kong.
In 2017, the company also purchased a commercial unit at Lyndhurst Terrace for HK$29.92 million (approximately S$5.16 million), and a entire floor of the Shunfeng International Centre, located in Wan Chai, for HK$28.5 million (approximately S$4.92 million).
Hawick has an estimated net worth of HK$200 million (approximately S$34.54 million), of which HK$100 million (approximately S$17.27 million) are assets which he co-owns with Yang Mi.
There has been no changes to the ownership of their joint company since their divorce. Hawick is said to be contracted as an artiste under the same company as well.
