Bang Yongguk leaves B.A.P

​During B.A.P’s Seoul concert back in July, the group talked about it possibly being their very last showcase together. Sadly, that statement turned out to be true: leader Bang Yongguk, who completed his seven-year contract, did not renew his contract with TS Entertainment, which expired on August 19, and he will be leaving B.A.P as well.

TS Entertainment released a statement announcing the rapper’s departure, adding that they respect his decision to not remain with them. They also stated that the remaining members of B.A.P – Daehyun, Youngjae, Himchan, Jongup and Zelo – will continue promoting as a quintet.

It’s a shocking move, but hopefully, it’s also one that allows him to be introduced to even bigger and better opportunities in the near future.
