Chris Wang reflects on controversial parenting methods

​Taiwanese actor-host Chris Wang attended a press conference for "Uber Baby" to raise awareness about child safety when hailing a taxi. He shared that he likes to take his kids out often. "When we are out, their happiness and safety are the most important things to me."

Chris had injured his knee in May after a run in France, and need a month of rehabilitation treatments. He is currently taking hyaluronic acid injections to prepare for a marathon in October.

Earlier this year, Chris caused controversy when he tore up his daughter's toy cards when she refused to keep them. It seems he has changed his mind about his parenting skills, saying, "That was not right. I should not have treated her so rudely."

Now, he is trying to be more gentle and patient with her. For instant, in the past, when his daughter refused to shower and wash her hair, he would lose his temper. But now, even though it's time-consuming to help bathe a child, he takes it as an opportunity to become closer with his daughter.
