Pace Wu Going Grocery Shopping Somehow Has Netizens Believing That Her Billionaire Boyfriend Has Really Run Into Financial Trouble

Taiwanese former actress Pace Wu might have retired from showbiz in 2015, but her every move and social media post is still closely followed by the media. And it's all because of her high-profile relationship with her billionaire boyfriend Ji Xiaobo, who is the father of her four kids.

The 41-year-old is now living it up as a tai tai though many believe that her days as a lady-of-leisure may be numbered judging from the many recent reports detailing how Xiaobo has run into financial trouble.

Pace and her family are based in Hongkong, which is experiencing its third wave of COVID-19 infections. On July 20, Pace posted this picture of herself on IG Stories clad in her anti-COVID outfit.

“Early in the morning and I'm already armed to the teeth to head to the market for some groceries, after which [I would] stay home [and] stay safe,” she wrote. 

​Pace’s post ignited loads of discussion from netizens, with some wondering, very inanely we must stress, why someone who is with a billionaire has to shop for groceries herself. Apparently, they believe that she should have a helper who runs her errands.

A few netizens then went on to speculate that this must mean that those reports about Xiaobo’s financial troubles are true ‘cos why else would Pace be grocery shopping? 

Um, seriously?! Some people, rich or poor, actually enjoy going to the market, okay?
